Put out a pair of hula hoops at the same distance from the van of say three flavours (6 hoops) and observe if the crow has a preference. If it takes the nearest ones to where it lands, repeat the experiment swapping flavours. They you could state it can hear and has a taste preference. I am willing to sponsor the hula hoops, how many flavours can you get? If it does have a preference you will have to decide if it chooses by taste or by smell or both. It is a carrion feeder so I guess beef over chicken over the others. Remember to assume the null hypothesis and get 30 observations or use students T to analyse the data.
