Dec 24th by Ian under Bird Watching

On the Western Perth by pass this afternoon about 2.30 on my way to TISO's, which is in the old glass factory, and not way past screwfix where the map tells you. Bit of Irony there where a shop selling sat navs, maps and compasses has and internet map telling you it is nearly 1 Km away. The point is I saw my first Perth Magpie flying atop the Nth bound carriageway trees, single bird, but I issued no incantation as this is not a superstition I have. I did see another some weeks back at Arlary, just Nth of Kinross, same territory, trees within the road boundary. Also there is an obvious roofed Magpie nest near the new Sainsburys in Kinross.

tks for that, my daughter had a sighting from a flat opposite the PRI, I am assuming the cemetery to which you refer is the one at the end of Riggs road, with the Polish graves?
