During my recent trip to Ghana, in addition to the birds there were many other natural wonders to view. Â In particular were the butterflies; Ghana has over 1000 species in comparison to the 50 or so species that we have in the UK. Â On a single morning walk we saw more than the total number of UK species – the photos are a few species that I managed to photograph.

No probs done it, I’m going to try and get species names for these butterflies, I think one is a monarch, wings folded.
No. 16 with the folded wings is the same as No. 4 with open wings I think.
gees whit a business, still not named all of your butterflies, you would consider the dorsal pics easy as most are definitive, well not so. I must have spent a good 6 hours on many sites to get this far, heids birlin, could be Islay whisky?
